TRANSATLANTIC MAIL 1830-1870

I started this collection on the 1st of September 2021, along with the the Rothschild collection. The goal is to complete the exhibition collection within the next 12 months. There is a lot of material and information available in the world and I think I will get 64 exhibition pages on schedule.

Old sailing and steamships are already an interesting object of study in their own right, and the mail they carry, especially before the postage stamp, is challenging to interpret but very rewarding in its diversity. The voyage from one continent to another is historically turbulent, an actual learning voyage.

On first appearance, It received Large Vermeil (2021)
