HISTORY!

The main reason for my interest in philately is because of its ability to travel through time to a wide variety of eras and countries.

The journey started, as with most philatelists, as a child. I have been collecting stamps since childhood, to varying degrees. In the early nineties, while living in London, I became interested in exhibition activities and my first collection of exhibits was about ship mail between England and Australia in 1805-1905 - at its best it reached 85 points. After this, I have participated in few exhibitions across Europe.

I took a long break from exhibitions from the early 2000s and it wasn’t until a few years ago that I started building serious collections again. Numerous exhibition collections are now under construction, some of which are presented on this site more or less ready-made.

I update this site almost daily and hopefully building my collections in such a prominent way will also help and encourage other philatelists with their own collections, especially now, when organizing exhibitions offline is still very limited.
