FINLAND 1650-1945

This very old Finland collections of mine, I started it when I was 16 years old, cover the history of Finnish stamps from the very first one, issued in 1856. The collections also include quite a few earlier letters as far as from early 17th century. Originally this collection was my largest one - over 360 collection pages. Most of them are now sold to the other keen collectors, as I felt that there was nothing I can give to the Finnish filatelia, what no one else would have already done and far better than I could ever have done with my Finnish collection. The pages now presented give a reasonable idea of my collection. Unfortunately, I hadn’t scanned most of my collection before the sale, so there are only these images left on my pages. I am still building a collection, but not exhibition collection, of the postal stationeries and pre-stamp mail before 1866 and also a small special collection of the 1889 2 penni stamp.
